Students learn songs and stage choreography featuring songs from musicals and movies, plus short spoken intro-scenes to set up each number. Singing and vocal technique with warm-ups and intonation, reading musical scores and memorizing their "part" are included. Learn spoken dialogue, acting, dance choreography, and singing. The story and emotional content of the piece – humor, love, disappointment, anger – are communicated through the words, music, movement and technical aspects of the numbers.
