This is the short version. We try to collect as little as possible and use it for exactly the reason you would expect.

What we collect

When a provider submits or claims a listing, we collect what is on the form. Business name, address, phone, email, website, photos, program details. That is it. We do not ask parents to make an account, and we do not run user tracking beyond standard analytics that tell us which pages get visited.

How we use it

Provider info shows up on the public listing page. We email the provider when a claim is approved or when something on the listing needs review. We do not sell any of this data, and we do not share it with other companies for marketing.

How long we keep it

As long as the listing is active. If a provider closes, moves, or asks us to take the listing down, we remove the record. Analytics data ages out on a rolling 14 month window.
